New Moon Cast Members – Official List

Official list of New Moon cast members has been announced today. All I can say about that is – finally! On top of the actors we already know have been cast to play in the movie, the New Moon Cast Members List contains following names”

• Daniel Cudmore as Felix
• Christopher Heyerdahl as Marcus
• Charlie Bewley as Demetri
• Cameron Bright as Alec
• Graham Greene as Harry Clearwater

According to the Summit Entertainment President of Production Erik Feig, the principal photography on “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” has already begun with main cast members reprising their roles (Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black). The Twilight Saga: New Moon is directed by award nominated director Chris Weitz and is being filmed on location in Vancouver and later in Tuscany, Italy. Basically, the press release makes everything we already know officially known.

Rejoining the New Moon Cast are Peter Facinelli as Carlisle Cullen, Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen, Kellan Lutz as Emmett, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme, Jackson Rathbone as Jasper, Nikki Reed as Rosalie, Edi Gathegi as Laurent and Rachelle Lafevre as Victoria.

On top of the old cast members, the new cast list includes the coven of Volturi vampires who impose and weigh the laws of the vampire world. The cast members playing Volturi vampires include:

Volturi Enforcers:

• Charlie Bewley as Demetri
• Daniel Cudmore as Felix
• Jamie Campbell Bower as Caius
• Christopher Heyerdahl as Marcus

The Volturi cast list further includes Dakota Fanning as powerful and high ranking Jane, Cameron Bright has been cast to play her brother Alec. Canadian supermodel Noot Seer will play Volturi human bait Heidi. Michael Sheen has been cast to play Volturi leader Aro.

Graham Greene has been cast to play Quileute tribal leader and old friend of Bella’s father Charlie – Harry Clearwater. Tinsel Korey will play Emily, the fiancé of Sam Uley.

The press release also contains brief synopsis of New Moon movie, which states that Bella Swan is devastated by sudden departure of Edward Cullen but finds comfort with Jacob Black. As she becomes drawn into the world of the werewolves – ancestral enemies of vampires – more and more, her loyalties will be tested.

So the list of New Moon cast members has been made official. Now we can’t wait for the movie even more.
